The concept

The project was born in 2017 from an exchange of ideas and desires of a small circle of friends. What unites them is the reality of being from a region, the Italian Grisons, which they left already as teenagers to follow the path of their studies. Ecology

Despite the inevitable impact caused by the realization of such an event, the concept of Openair Cavaglia focuses on minimizing its negative footprint on the natural environment, through the supply of hydroelectric power, the selective disposal of waste, the use of reusable crockery or composed of natural materials, raising awareness of the public to use public or shared transport.

The festival program consists of two evenings of live music. After the concerts follows the jam session and the dj-sets. The days are structured by ateliers and artistic performances of various kinds.

In 2019, the Culture Commission of Poschiavo, honored the association 5SociSpars, with a cultural prize of encouragement. This gesture is proof of the public recognition of the association’s initiative, which is appreciated by the local population as it promotes the local gastronomy and landscape as well as cultural and multi-generational exchange.
